THE RANDOM SCENARIO MEME 3.0

- Post your character, name, and series in the subject. Include any preferences as well.
- Go to RNG and enter 1-7 for a scene type, and 1-20 for a scene to play out.


TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.

ANGST.

[ Angela's bursting in with the strike team before the day's over, but it wasn't quick enough. If ever her faith in Overwatch has faltered, this would be it; to allow Reinhardt to be captured by Talon— one of the original members, the ones with the most secrets. If only the old lion had retired like he was supposed to, but no. He was still out on the field, running missions near-solo.

When his team had returned without him, no one would have ever described her as "Mercy". There was none to be found when she ripped those soldiers down. She was "the doctor", and everyone knew exactly which doctor that had referred to when word got around later. She was furious and nearly crying in frustration when the story couldn't be told quickly enough, storming off to gather up a squad to go right back. Hell or high water, she was getting him back, and she'd be at the forefront.

It took another hour after clearing out the small Talon hideout to ascertain his whereabouts, multiple agents refusing to speak and instead dying for their cause, poisoning themselves. She'd shoved her hand in the fifth one's mouth before they even knew anyone had entered the room they hid out in, ripping the tooth clean from its socket as the soldiers with her rushed to catch the man before he could retaliate. That same man had relinquished the information she needed within twenty minutes. She couldn't believe how little security they had on him until the door opens and she can lay eyes on him.

Then it made plenty of sense. He wasn't going anywhere. His armor is discarded in a pile outside the cell and already blood-splattered, but his crushed hands on the cement floor are the first things she lays eyes on before the mess of his leg, the red edges of his clothing the barest hint to the raw flesh of his back, face bruised nearly beyond recognition. They hadn't even locked the deadbolt on the door in place. With his hands effectively out of commission, how was he to manipulate the small thing? It's flung to the ground angrily before she's pulling the deadbolt open and dragging the heavy iron door open, just enough for her to slip in and run to him. All anger and energy melts away from her as she sinks to her knees beside him, gentle fingers carding through thick white hair matted in blood when she whispers to him, slipping her arm under his neck to scoop his head up off the floor. ]

My sweet old lion; I'm here.

I WILL WAIT FOR YOU

[It's no wonder when Talon grabs him. Reinhardt had been willing and prepared for the possibility; he'd placed himself as the wall between Talon and his team, after all. Gave the other agents time to escape as Talon forces bore down on them. He was their shield, and he doesn't go down easy, gives Talon a fight they'll never forget until they finally manage to sedate him and everything goes dark.

When he wakes, he's unsurprised to find himself bound and surrounded by Talon. They want answers, of course, secrets they hadn't been able to pry out of Overwatch's corpse when it was destroyed, and they inflict injury after injury on Reinhardt in an attempt to break him. But he stays silent. He refuses to speak, goes so far as to refuse to vocalize his pain if he can help it, because even that much feels like giving Talon too much. Reinhardt would never jeopardize Overwatch. He would rather die than speak a word to these villains.

At the rate they're going, he very well might. An ungraceful way to go, to be certain, but there's some glory to be found in denying the enemy their victory as well. Reinhardt is content enough with the idea.

As big as he is, as accustomed to battle and pain as he is, Reinhardt has a high pain threshold, but extended torture can push past the most stubborn of men. Reinhardt still doesn't speak, but he's started spending most of his time stuck in an unfocused haze of pain and aches, broken only when he's dragged back out for Talon to add a new fresh heap of agony on. Ruined hands, a shattered knee, lashes across his back. Blows from fists across his face and stomach. Darker patches of skin where electric currents were applied. Once the screaming agony has faded, time tends to blend and eke away in a blur of general aching. When the sound of footsteps approaching his cell comes once again, Reinhardt has no way of telling how much time he's lost, how long he's been in Talon's clutches overall.

He has no energy to fight. Let Talon struggle with his weight, he'll remain defiant to the end, even if it's in the most passive of ways.

It takes him a long moment to sink in what's happening. To realize he's not being barked at or hauled up by impatient hands. To register the feeling of a gentle hand running through his hair. Once the odd tenderness in the touch hits him, his eyes gain some focus, gazing at Angela instead of through her.

Angela.

His mouth curls at the corners, managing a genuine smile for her, a shadow of his grins and yet still more than what a man in his condition should be able to muster. But Reinhardt Wilhelm prides himself on getting up each and every time he's knocked down.]

Angela. [His voice is a quiet rasp, worn from a refusal to speak, a refusal to voice pain in the face of Talon's efforts.] What are you doing here, engel? This is... not a place for you.

[Of course he's worried about her instead of himself. Of course.]

I'M RIGHT BESIDE U!!

[ That his team had even left him in the first place is grounds for Angela to eat them alive when they get back to base. Not a single one of them was leaving on their feet; if they weren't crawling out in shame she was getting them dishonorably discharged. It was a long trip here and back, and it gave them well over eighteen hours to work on Reinhardt, try to pry the answers from his heart that he'd guarded so valiantly, tooth nor nail penetrating the hide of her old lion. The fact that he was still alive attested to that.

Talon didn't send back broken men as symbols. They only left the dead to be found months later, after they've moved out and Overwatch scoured the previous hideouts to find their loved ones rotten and festering. An organization that deserved no mercy in her strike. His eyes open to her touch and her voice, blue clouded over and unfocused for a long few moments before he seems to realize who she is. Her staff is already trained on him, providing what little relief she can manage; the nanites can only do so much. For now, they'll seek out internal damage and ease his pain if only a fraction. Eventually they would be rejected, and his body is so large— too much ground to cover.

Reinhardt smiles and she breaks, tears welling in her eyes as she curls down over him, pressing her brow to his as gently as possible, tears hitting his skin and rolling into his hairline. His voice is so quiet; tired, swollen with pain. He isn't a quiet man and she can't recall the last time she's heard him speak so softly. Not since she was a little girl, new to Overwatch with his giant hand coming to rest on her back, near covering her in it. He'd been the first to cry back then. ]

I've made it my own; can't I be the knight in shining armor for a change?

[ Her voice shakes and she soothes through his hair once more, lifting her head only so she can press a kiss to a bruised temple, then down to the swell above his good eye. The gentlest of light kisses, fluttering over damaged flesh. ]

I came back for you. To take you home, meine Löwe.

[He wants to wipe away her tears, but he knows without seeing exactly what condition his hands are in. Ignoring the agony that comes with moving them, they wouldn't exactly be effective for comfort at the moment. So instead he turns his head, presses a kiss into her hair, breathing a sigh into the soft locks.]

Ahh, where has the excitable little girl with stars in her eyes gone?

[A trick question; she both never existed and has always existed. Angela wants nothing but the best for everyone around her, yet she is steadfast in her morals, refusing to let herself be walked all over just because she was a medic among battle-hardened veterans. Leading a mission straight into Talon territory to rescue him? He's unfathomably proud of her, an already large heart swelling with the emotion.]

My guardian angel, [he concedes instead.] Always flying to my rescue.

[Experience has taught him just how much her nanites can do for him, so he keeps still until he knows the threshold has been reached. It's enough to make moving feasible in the first place, dulling the pain to a manageable ache, and he pushes himself, slow and careful, into sitting up. He knows his weight is too much for her - for anyone, really, but especially her - to manage on her own, and he's determined to let her know that he's far from out of the fight, even in this state. He's ready to do what he can.

Once he's off the floor, he grins at her. Grins as though he hadn't just been beaten toward the end of his life.]

Then we should... get back before anyone else begins to worry. I would hate for them to start thinking that Reinhardt Wilhelm could be defeated.

[ Fine gold strands catch on dry lips, feeling the warmth of his breath when he sighs into her and she wishes she could just scoop him up and hold him until he's been healed. It's only when he's hurt that she realizes how large he truly was, rendering her near useless to help him. Even the assistance of her suit isn't enough; the bulk added to enhance her physical strength would vastly limit her mobility, and it was a sacrifice she'd always dealt with. Today is the first time she's ever truly regretted it. ]

She's only hiding from the woman that tore out a man's tooth to get some answers. She'll understand.

[ It's a bit of a cheeky answer, but she can hear the pride in his voice and her nose crinkles with the little smile his concession earns him, fingers feathering through the ends of long white hair before she's giving him one last little kiss to focus on healing him right up to that threshold. The only thing she can really see fit to do when he begins to move is help pull on one large arm while her other guides his damaged leg around as gently as possible so he won't try to rise up onto the crushed knee straining at his suit and swollen horribly under trauma. That was going to make mobility difficult for him, more than anything else he'd sustained. ]

And I'll always be here for you; no matter where in the world you are, my fierce lion.

[ Once he's raised himself up off the floor onto his good knee, though, she'll shoulder up under his arm and give her as much support as she can to get him upright. It may not be much of a help and the men just outside the cell fidget, unsure whether they should step in or not to help, but for now she signals them to stay and wait with a flat hand at waist level. ]

Careful, now. Take your time. [ Everything about her expression when she looks up at him is fond and sad and ferociously proud, with her own determination to get him home fierce in her eyes. She's on the side of his injured knee to be his very own crutch, waiting to see if she can take enough of his weight to allow him to avoid any landing on his leg, fingers gentle on the arm about her neck to keep his smashed hand from knocking into anything, cradled across her chest to rest over her heart and bracing him to her so his weight would come down on his elbow across her shoulders. The brawniest member of their squad comes the second she crooks a finger for the help and he shoulders up under Reinhardt's other arm for a mismatched set of crutches to get him out. It'd have to be under his own power; he's too broad a man to get through the narrow halls on a stretcher, too long to navigate around the many twists and turns. ]

No one would ever dare. I'd rip them apart for your honor.

[ She hadn't always been a doctor, after all. She's taken apart as many bodies as she's put together. (Nevermind that they were in medical school and for her research.) It would be a struggle to get him out of the building, but the second they were on the trucks back to the jets for the long trip back to base, she could really settle into treatment and get a head start on him. ]

[Reinhardt doesn't protest the help when offered. He knows that he needs it. He's going nowhere without it, as much as he might not like the fact. He's stubborn, but being stubborn is not enough to overcome a shattered knee. He's aware enough that he won't run the risk of injuring himself worse, perhaps permanently, in an attempt to appear stronger than he is.

Angela helps him to his feet, and in all honesty, Reinhardt is somewhat relieved he's not required to move immediately after getting there; being upright after being left so long on the cell floor has a sense of vertigo overcoming him briefly, something he has to close his eyes against and fight down as it attempts to turn his stomach. He hardly needs to get sick over something as ridiculous as this. Walking is going to be difficult enough.

Once his makeshift crutches are in place, Reinhardt takes a breath, steadying himself and giving them both a nod in turn to let them know he's going to begin. He takes his first step toward freedom.

The walk through the halls of the Talon base is a slow, painful affair, his ruined knee protesting every time he's forced to put some sort of weight upon it. Reinhardt bears it in silence, his face set in grim determination. He is a Crusader, a frontliner of the Omnic Crisis, and he has survived far worse than anything Talon has thrown at him here. He will survive this. Angela's presence at his side is a constant grounding force, makes it easier to soldier through the pain. But her presence and his determination don't stop him from breaking out into a sweat of exertion, don't stop his breathing from growing heavier. They don't stop this from being an ordeal for the old lion.

But they make it. They reach the trucks, and Reinhardt has never been more relieved for sound and activity, for a place to sit down. He's exhausted, and now that Talon isn't there to harass him, to deprive him of peace, his eyelids are beginning to feel quite heavy. He forces to stay awake until they get on the jet, at least.

Then? He manages nothing more than Angela's name, trying to her of his intentions to nap and failing, dropping into sleep the second he allows his eyes to fall closed.]

[ If at all possible, placing his weight on Angie and the man on his other side will keep him from putting any weight on his leg, but she realizes in the same breath that if he were to truly give all of his weight to her, she'd crumple. That he was moving under his own power at all is a small miracle and not one she takes lightly, never quite stopping for breaks because once she had him moving she's afraid to stop lest he fall and not get back up again, but slowing when his breathing grows too labored and steadying him with a hand over his sternum. Soothing words and gentle encouragement, telling him it's only a little further, they're almost there, he's doing wonderfully—

and then they're out. It's the dead of night and not even the stars would shine for them tonight, the sky blanketed in clouds and fog clinging close to the earth. It's cold and damp and she fears for him. It was two hours by vehicle to the jets, winding carefully through the wilderness. He's sat down in one of the spacious back seats and she mops what sweat and grime she can off of him to stave off a chill, and then she's climbing in to give him a lap to rest in. The ride was too bumpy to tend to him, but she can at least run her fingers through his hair and stay curled protectively over him, keeping him tipped enough that his raw back doesn't press against the seats.

Once they've boarded the jet for the remainder of their travel, she settles right into cutting open his shirt and pants, sponging him off and tending to his wounds, thankful for the deep sleep that borders on comatose in his exhaustion to clean and bandage as much of him as she can, and get splints around his shattered knee and smashed hands to prevent further jostling or disturbance. It was her turn to sleep after that, sleeves stained and brow smudged with his blood where she'd wiped at the sheen on her forehead throughout her work, even with help moving him about. It'd require proper equipment to scan and deal with his hands and knee, but she had done as much as possible with that broad back of his and bound his chest, cleaning up the multitude of lacerations from the beatings he'd been given and icing his bruises and swelling, wrapping him in all the blankets they could find to keep him warm.

Angie is roused from where she'd once more curled up with him in her lap, holding one large bandaged hand in her own, and she sets about rousing Reinhardt once more, combing her nails through his hair with a little more vigor. ]
